Harry Patton

July 1, 1930 ~ June 6, 2019 (age 88)

Mr. Harry Patton, age 88 of Benton passed on Thursday morning June 6, 2019 at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah.

Mr. Patton was a member of the First Baptist Church of Benton, the former owner of Patton Trucking Company. He was a Veteran of the US Army. He enjoyed fishing, camping, woodworking and UK basketball.

Mr. Patton was born July 1, 1930 in Clay City, Indiana son of the late Nathan and Mae Duncan Patton.

He was preceded in death by his parents as well as one brother Robert Patton. He is survived by his wife Sue Patton of Benton. Three sons James Patton of Paducah, William (Noreen) Patton of Benton and Daniel (Jennifer) Patton of Bartlett, Tennessee. Also surviving is one sister Lois Denniston of Vero Beach, Florida as well as seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Visitation with the Patton family will be held on Sunday afternoon from 1:00 until 3:00 at the Marshall County Funeral Home. Funeral Service is scheduled to be conducted on Sunday afternoon at 3:00 in the chapel of the Marshall County Funeral Home with Brother Mark Doom officiating, interment to follow at the Benton Cemetery with full Military Rites.
